Well done both, a brilliant performance.

The Last One Standing: Florence Court is a gruelling Backyard Ultra endurance event held at Florence Court Demesne, near Enniskillen in County Fermanagh, hosted by Atlas Running The format is simple but brutally demanding: runners complete a 4.2‑mile (≈ 6.7 km) loop every hour on the hour, with each loop needing to be completed within the hour to avoid elimination. This continues until only one runner remains — the “Last One Standing” — who must then complete a final loop solo to be declared the winner.
The course begins relatively flat, but soon climbs into wooded areas for a challenging first half, then drops downhill back to the finish. The race puts equal emphasis on pacing, mental endurance, and managing rest and nutrition, as runners must return to the start line each hour even as fatigue sets in. The event has become a benchmark Backyard/Last‑One‑Standing event in Northern Ireland.
